The only prototype I've ever really wanted and will probably never own. For years I've been thinking of creating a custom Stelara that reflects a combo of my favorite aspects from the comic and prototype/animated designs but it didn't get off the ground until this weekend. Me and my two younger boys were going through boxes and found my "spare" set of Sectaurs (Dad's set are on the display shelf) - they haven't put them down since. Seeing them play re-energized me to get the Stelara project kicked off. I'll use this thread to post progress.

Thanks. Nice call on the resemblance. I'm using an Adora as the base figure. She needs minor altering to get her scaled with Sectaurs and her hair is spot on perfect to the style Stelara wears in the comics. I went with the 80s yellow blond color though - matches Dargon's perfectly. Should have pics of the body up later.

Here is a shot of the body armor, roughly sculpted - plus a test fit for the head. Still need to alter the arms and legs but showing progress.

Completed! Here is a gallery of my rendition of Stelara. I set out to do an MOTUC like version of character that took elements from different designs and rolled them into one figure. My going in thought was to match the comic hair style and outfit but maintain the colors of the prototype/cartoon (I actually like having her match the blue color scheme that the heroic warriors have). However, once I started painting and seeing how things were coming together, I decided to keep her gloves and boots black and to use metallic black/gunmetal highlights vs. the purple that the prototype uses. In the end the black just seemed more sexy and tactical. Let me know your thoughts! She sizes up nicely with the boys.

Your custom looks amazing! You definitely did a great job with her and she fits in well with the other Sectaurs!
Are you planning any other custom Sectaurs? There are a lot of unmade figures to choose from!

Thanks - I have some projects in mind. For instance, Stelara really isn't complete without... Rhine-Ox Telebonded and ready for action! Push the button on his back and his horned head juts upward for ramming action.
