So they opened up this new indoor flea market kind of place near us, Friday was the grand opening. So we took a quick run over there to see what it was all about. Turns out one of the local comic/toy shops in the area has a booth set up there selling all kinds of overpriced Star Wars and McFarlane stuff that no one wants anymore. So you can imagine my surprise when I see a Bitaur sitting on the table. I pick him up and his chomping action works perfectly and he is in great shape. No price on him so I ask one of the guys how much they want for him. He takes it out of my hand, holds it up to show the other guy and says to me "Do you know what this is?" as if I needed to demonstrate some kind of geek knowledge before he would acknowledge my question. As I'm about to say Sectaurs both him and the other guy blurt it out, like saying it before me makes them smart or something. Followed by the "ummm I dunno how about five bucks?" I just set it down and walked away I have to admit after working all night, getting stuck on an unplowed street and getting stuck at work an extra hour because everyone was stuck in their driveways and couldn't make it to work I was a bit irritable. I guess it's not the guys fault though, he had no way of knowing who he was talking to In retrospect I guess I should have been impressed that they knew there were other action figure lines other than SW, Transformers and Spawn ;D

Yeah I did delete that thread actually, for justified reasons I have randomly been thinking about trying to round out my collection because Dragonflyer is the only large scale fig I have boxed. Even Pinsor and Skulk have been getting expensive lately and they used to be pretty cheap it seems Dunno why there are so many people into Sectaurs again...probably all the interest you drummed up by going around posting on forums all over!

I just can't figure out why those loose ones were going for twice what packaged ones were going for.
Skulk was the last big boxed one I needed and picked him up right after my birthday last year from a local eBay seller for like $35. Man, it's case fresh, the nicest boxed figure I have. Although, that may get challenged with the Italian/GiG Skito I have coming.
That reminds me, what ever happened with all those carded Euro figs?

I really don't understand it either, there are however a lot of loose collectors out there. More so now then I think there has ever been before for some reason. Gigi Skito huh? Nice find, I think I only have the Gigi Dargon/Parafly and it's kinda beat. The Euro carded stuff got put on hold by Norem art actually. Not only that but the guy took his time getting back to me which was kind of annoying, he wouldn't describe or send pics of stuff no matter how many times I asked and what really turned me off was he wasn't willing to deal whatsoever. Don't get me wrong I don't always expect to get a deal but if you're selling something for $20 a piece and no one is buying and someone comes along and offers to buy a whole case it's usually pretty common place to knock a couple bucks off or at least cover shipping. Not with this guy, right down to the penny he wasn't going to budge at all.
